Fishy Nails!!!! These nails are way cute, but make sure you have a steady hand for some free hand drawing!!
Alright you can use any colors for these nails but make sure your base coat is either super dark or super light. Also make sure the colors you choose for the fish will stand out against the base coat. If your not sure just test it on a piece of paper first.
1. Paint all your fingers with your base coat. I chose white for mine.
2. You can draw seaweed in the background with a light green color. I only drew the seaweed in back of the fish on mine.
3. Paint on your fish!! Sorry its hard to explain how to do these because it really is just free hand art. paint a body with the nail polish brush. Sometimes the skinnier brushes are easier depending on the fish your drawing, but definitely use a skinny brush for the star fish. Then use a tooth pick to draw the eyes.
4. Paint on your top clear coat
This is how mine turned out!!

Here are some more summer nails that are way cute!! Here's what you will need
1. Paint all your nails with a base coat of your choice (I used an aqua blue color from Sallys).
2. use some of the top coat (nail gel) and brush it from the corner of your nail outwards. Just as far as you want the glitter to go. You want to make it look like its exploding out of the corner with the flower so I would only brush out a little bit.Make sure you only do one nail at a time.
3. After brushing on a little bit of top coat sprinkle on some glitter, but do it close to the nail so you get it only in the designated areas.
4. Alright now do the flowers (Ring Finger and thumb only) use the nail polish brush to make five dots in a circle. Then take a tooth pick and scrap each dot from the outside center to the inside middle to look like petals.
5. glue small circle diamond in the center of all the petals.
6. take a slim white nail polish brush to make wisps on the other nails. Start in the corner and drag the brush in a curve line to the end of the nail. Do it three times.
7. let it all dry then do a top coat
You're done!! and it should look like this!

These nails are pretty simple!! I like to call them Maui nails. These nails will give you good pactice on free hand drawing so hopefully you have a steady hand. It helps a lot if you practice on paper first. Your going to need the following:
Switch off painting your nails with the pink orange and gold.
After they dry paint a palm tree on your ring finger and thumb, you can even try to add birds if you like
After they dry go over every nail with the Gel coat and your done!!

Alright these are some of my favorite nails to do. Beware because they do take a lot of patients and time. You will need....
1.diamonds it 'really matter which kind as long as they have a flat bottom. You can find some good ones at hobby lobby in the scrap book section. If you get the ones in lines on the paper with glue on the back it makes things a lot easier. They are usually around 2-3 dollars a pack
2. super glue they have some really good brush on glue at walmart in the nail section. Its around 4 dollars.
3. Gel top coat which you can buy from sallys and it usually runs about. Its around 6 dollars.
Start off one nail at a time. Make sure your nails are clean and don't have nail polish on them. There are two different ways to do this the first way is put super glue on a small spot and then add one diamond at a time going from bottom to top and then working your way to the other side of the nail one row at a time. If you bought the diamonds that are in strands on the paper you can pull them off and measure them to fit your nail one strand at a time. You will run into the problem of having extra space at the end of your nail or having the diamond hang over but either way its fine because you can file them down after the glue dries. Just make sure you are working from the bottom of the nail to the top and from one side to the other. After your done doing this to all your nails go over them with the gel coat. As I said before be patient cause it does take time, but it is definitely worth it. I promise you will get lots of compliments! Also the better the super glue the longer they stay on. Enjoy!!

I started doing nails when I was 13 years old (not professionally of course) and I've loved it ever since. I always loved coming up with new ideas to try out on my family and friends. I haven't had the opportunity to go to Nail School yet but I should be attending very soon. Until then I decided to start a blog on how to do different kinds of nails, what to use, and where to buy the stuff. Year after year I have had the trouble of having to go to multiple Beauty stores to find the supplies I want for certain nail ideas. I figured I could make it easier for everyone else by including the supplies, instructions and the ideas I have in this blog. If anyone has any ideas they would like me to try out and explain feel free to contact me by comments or messages!!! Otherwise enjoy!
I'm going to start off my blog with something very simple

1. paint all your nails pastel green except for your ring finger
2. Paint your ring finger purple
3. Paint sparkles over green nail polish
4. Paint a clear gel coat over nails and wait to dry (they sell a really good one at sallys beauty supplies)
